I dreamed I was trying to use one of my excavators on a job. It was like a shopping center or something. It was maybe a parking lot it was parked under this roof. I was articulated forward on her side and I started it in. It had that hydraulic ability to write itself, and I did that being careful not to hit the roof with the arm as it came up. I walked out of out from under the roof. And then I turned it off, and it wouldn’t start until I cranked it for a long time and then it started. I don’t remember doing any actual work with it. I think Jim, my cousin and Art my brother were in this team, but I don’t remember the role they played. Then maybe at the same shopping center I don’t know. Yes it was the same shopping center. We were finishing up the job and I thought the parking lot needed to be cleaned and we had this floor cleaning machine with power brushes I was trying to run that. It needed soap and water in it, and I made sure it was full before using it. Then I started using it only to realize that the concrete I was trying to clean was already very clean. Then Korean one of my colleagues was there cleaning a wall that perhaps we got dirty during the job and she was wearing a red tank top or maybe a top with spaghetti straps and I thought her back was dirty. So I got a large yellow microfiber cloth and got it wet with warm water and washed her back off while she was cleaning the wall and then I woke up.
Dreams can be mysterious and intriguing, often blending elements of our daily lives with our subconscious thoughts and emotions. Let's try to interpret the symbolism and scenarios in your dream:
Excavator and Machinery: Operating heavy machinery, like an excavator and a floor cleaning machine, suggests that you are engaged in a project or task that requires precision, control, and strength. It indicates that you are dealing with a significant responsibility or a challenging situation in your waking life. The fact that the excavator needed to crank for a long time before starting could imply that you are experiencing delays or frustrations in kick-starting something important to you.
Shopping Center and Parking Lot: The setting of a shopping center or parking lot is often a public space where multiple activities occur, symbolizing a mix of personal and collective aspects of your life. Perhaps there is a situation where your personal efforts are intertwined with teamwork or public perception.
Team Involvement: Your cousin Jim and brother Art being part of the team might reflect your reliance on family or familiar support when undertaking tasks. Their unclear roles could represent unacknowledged contributions from people close to you or a need to understand each person’s role in collaborative projects better.
Cleaning Surfaces: The act of cleaning, whether it is the parking lot or the colleague’s back, signifies a desire to clear away obstructions or improve a situation. It may relate to an aspect of your life where you seek clarity, purification, or the removal of unnecessary elements. The unnecessary cleaning of already clean surfaces can suggest overthinking problems that are already resolved or focusing effort where it may not be needed.
Colleague Interaction: The act of washing your colleague’s back, especially with the detail of her attire, might symbolize a camaraderie or a sense of responsibility towards others. It could reflect nurturing aspects of your personality or your desire to help others in your environment.
Colors and Clothing: The colors and clothing in dreams can be symbolic. The red tank top or spaghetti straps suggests passion, energy, or boldness, while the large yellow microfiber cloth represents caution, positivity, or a desire for cleanliness and precision.
Overall, the dream seems to reflect your focus on responsibilities, the complexities of team dynamics, and a strong desire to clear obstacles or improve the current state of affairs, both personally and professionally. It may be urging you to consider areas where you are exerting unnecessary effort and where collaboration with others could either be clarified or more appreciated.
